Management Accountant - Appleton

WS Transportation has a great opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team in Appleton. You will play a key role in the Finance department, providing essential financial insights and guidance to the operational teams. This role will be the key link between the finance and operational teams to drive on-going performance improvements across the business.

Key Accountabilities:

• Development and production of business and customer KPI’s
• Collaborating with the wider team to improve financial processes and systems
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end accounts
• Create and develop operational reports as required
• Being a focal point for data production within WS Transportation
• Work with the finance and operation teams to identify improvement opportunities
• General System support
• Any other ad-hoc duties

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• A minimum of 12 months experience in a relevant finance role
• Experienced in using Cognos (desirable yet not essential) or similar BI tool
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work in a changing and flexible organisation
• High attention to detail
• Organised and efficient
• UK Driving Licence
