Job description

WS Transportation are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Runcorn. It will be your responsibility to oversee the customer experience with WS Transportation. We aim to give all customers a first-class service and we need our customer service team to be passionate about delivering these service levels.

Key Accountabilities

Delivering excellent customer service to all WS customers.
Accurate and timely data entry and job creation onto our TMS System.
Work as part of the customer service team to create a best-in-class experience for WS customers.
Monitoring and managing email traffic and responding to customers in a professional and timely manner.
Communicate professionally and effectively both internally and externally to ensure our customers’ needs are met.
Dealing with customer phone calls in a professional and effective manner.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Proficient working knowledge of MS Office Word/Excel/Outlook
Demonstrate proven administrative experience
Experience of working within a transport office environment
Good local and national geographical knowledge
Experience of routing desirable but not essential
Organised with a methodical approach to tasks
Ability to consistently follow set company procedures
Confident telephone manner
Effective communicator oral and written
The ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
Able to work from own initiative and also as part of a team
Motivated, Pro-active and reliable
