Job description

WS Transportation are seeking HGV Drivers to be based out of our Loughborough Depot on Flatbeds.

Key Accountabilities

Safely operate an HGV flatbed trailer to transport goods and materials to assigned destinations across the UK.
Experience in transporting abnormal, long, and wide loads on a flatbed trailer, with a demonstrated proficiency in effectively securing loads using chains, binders, and straps.
Load and unload securely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and road safety standards while operating the vehicle.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Valid CPC & Tacho Card
Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably with flatbed experience.
Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
Solid understanding of UK road regulations and traffic laws.
Ability to read and interpret maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively.
Strong organisational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
